From spin to bait casting to fly rods, the Yakima TopWater Fishing Rod Box is a fully enclosed rooftop storage purpose-built to haul and protect up to eight, fully rigged fishing rods up to 8' long. Side opening offers easy access to rigged-up fishing rods. Protective foam pads with individual rod slots combine with rubber retention straps to keep rods and reels safely suspended in place without getting banged around or entangled. The space below your rods can fit low-profile tackle boxes or use it to keep wet gear out of your rig. Small drain holes help prevent water from pooling in bottom of the box. Remove the rod holders and transform your fishing box into a four-season cargo box perfect for skis and other long gear. Universal mounting hardware fits all Yakima crossbars and most other roof racks. Includes Yakima SKS (Single Key System) locks to secure rods inside and lock the DoubleHaul to the roof rack.
