The Spektrum DX6 Transmitter Kit includes the DX6 6-Channel DSMX Mode 2 Transmitter and AR610 DSMX Receiver. The DX6 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter is a radio controller designed primarily for RC aircraft including helis airplanes and sailplanes. It can also be used to operate some terrestrial RC vehicles as well as certain 2- and 3-axis gimbal stabilizers for video cameras. The transmitter supports control Mode 2 only which is the most widely used mode in the U.S. putting the throttle on the left. It features memory spaces for 250 models and there is an SD card slot for increasing memory capacity transferring settings from other transmitters or a computer and updating the firmware (card available separately). A wireless trainer link allows the DX6 to be bound with a second transmitter so that an instructor can quickly take over when necessary during a class. The transmitter is DSMX/DSMX-compatible and uses a 2.4 GHz-band radio. The AR610 6-Channel DSMX Aircraft Receiver is a full-range 6-channel receiver for small to .90 sized RC sport planes. It works with Spektrum and JR DSMX and DSM2 transmitters and features an amplified antenna for greater signal clarity 2048 resolution and QuickConnect technology with Brownout Detection. The receiver is telemetry compatible and supports Spektrum's optional Flight Log module for tracking RF link performance.
